In the Kitchen with Mooraffe

Of all the Genetipetz, Mooraffe may be the best help in the kitchen. They are nice, easygoing and curious, making them the perfect sous chefs. The first exotic mixed-up animal Dr. Genetipetz ever discovered, Mooraffes are extraordinary friends. Check out these Mooraffe-approved recipes with their absolute favorite flavors — marshmallows, chocolate, blackberries and cabbage!

Recipe: S’mores Dip

This delicious recipe combines two of Mooraffe’s favorite ingredients — marshmallows and chocolate! Preheat your oven to 450 degrees. You’ll need chocolate chips, marshmallows and graham crackers. Poor the bag of chocolate chips into a skillet or oven-safe pan, and cover the entire pan with large marshmallows. Bake for 5-10 minutes until marshmallows are brown on top. Use the graham crackers for dipping. Yum!

Recipe: Blackberry Dump Cake

You’ll be making this super easy recipe for dessert on weeknights for no reason! Combine four cups of blackberries, ½ cup of white sugar and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon in a 9×13 cake pan. Sprinkle a box of dry yellow cake mix and ½ cup of rolled oats on top of the berry mixture. Pour one cup of melted butter over the entire cake evenly. Bake for 30 minutes or until top is golden brown. Serve with ice cream, whipped cream or eat it alone — your preference!

Recipe: Parmesan Roasted Cabbage Wedges

You’ll need one small head of cabbage, 4 tablespoons of avocado oil (or you could use coconut oil, olive oil or butter), 2 teaspoons of sea salt, 1 tablespoon of pepper and ½ cup Parmesan cheese for this recipe. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Cut the cabbage in quarter-inch wedges and cut out the core. Brush the wedges with oil and sprinkle, salt, pepper and Parmesan on top. Bake for 25 minutes! This is a simple side that kids will love!
