Recipe: Peanut Butter Dog Cookies

You’ll need 2.5 cups of whole wheat flour, one teaspoon of baking powder, one cup of natural peanut butter, water, honey and an egg. Take note that there are available substitutions if your pet is allergic to flour or wheat. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and combine the flour, baking powder, and egg. Add the peanut butter, water and honey and stir into a dough. If you’re feeling super creative, you can use cookie cutters to make this sweet treat even more fun. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.

Recipe: Apple Mint Christmas Dog Bones

Feeling festive? Your pet will love this easy, green treat! You’ll need whole wheat flour, unbleached all-purpose flour, oats, oat bran, dry milk, dry baking yeast, spearmint leaves, applesauce and red or green food coloring. Make the dough, cut into bone shape, bake and presto — a treat fit for your best friend.

Cats need love, too! All you need is white flour, shredded cheddar cheese, grated parmesan, sour cream or yogurt and cornmeal for this recipe. Combine the ingredients and knead into balls. Bake for 25 minutes.
